What Happens

I’ve just created a new blog featuring my poetry. Feel free to explore it! 🙂 I hope it’s satisfactory.

Keep Me Close

Snobby noses wishing you away

Weakly kisses brandishing your skin

burning it, smoking black.

And I’m finding it hard to breath without

my usual mass

of perfumed expense

and bubblegum hair.

I haven’t yet realized how

it’s waiting always,

this stink.

Around every corner

comes with perfume and kisses

and overly blonde hair.

Is it funny I think we’re pretty?

But others see past

our fake smiles

into snobbish stares-

many million dollar eyebrows

raised in ugly frustration.

Can’t get what we want.

Don’t have what we need.
